PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya is experiencing pleasant weather today, with mild sunshine and a refreshing cool breeze, as a new wave of relatively strong cold air from China spreads across upper Thailand, according to the Meteorological Department.

While northern, northeastern, and central regions are seeing a sharper drop in temperatures, Pattaya and the eastern region are enjoying cooler conditions mainly in the morning, accompanied by steady northeast winds. Temperatures in Pattaya are expected to range between 16–21°C in the early hours, rising to around 31–33°C during the day.

The cooler airflow has brought clearer skies and comfortable conditions for residents and visitors along the coast, though winds remain moderate to strong. Sea conditions in the eastern Gulf of Thailand are seeing waves of around 1–2 meters, increasing to about 2 meters offshore. Small boats are advised to exercise caution.

Authorities have also noted that air quality in upper Thailand, including the eastern region, has improved, with dust and haze levels decreasing due to stronger winds.

While Pattaya remains dry and relatively calm, the Meteorological Department continues to advise the public to take care of their health during cooler mornings and to remain cautious of stronger coastal winds during marine activities.
