Sattahip police arrested a local man they accused of selling methamphetamine on the Line messaging app.
Sutee “Neung Taotan” Charoensri, 46, was captured in a sting operation on Soi Bonkai 10 Dec. 26. A reputed customer working with police swapped cash for two ya ba tablets as he and the suspect drove motorbikes in opposite directions.
Sutee realized quickly he fell into a police trap and tossed the marked bills, but to no avail.
Officers found an additional four pills on him and 10 more in his Sandee Village apartment.
Police said Sutee sold drugs using the smartphone application and have since arrested three more people and are expanding their investigation to find bigger fish.
