
PATTAYA, Thailand – Traffic police in Sattahip ordered immediate action after a truck transporting used goods dropped sacks of cloth onto Sukhumvit Road near the Naval Fleet Command intersection, causing disruption to traffic and raising safety concerns for motorists, June 23. The incident occurred when the truck reportedly lost part of its load, scattering cloth bags across the roadway and partially blocking traffic flow. Vehicles in the area were forced to slow down as debris spread across the lanes, increasing the risk of accidents.
Traffic officers from Sattahip Police Station responded to the scene to manage traffic and clear the roadway. The driver of the truck was later stopped and fined, and instructed to properly secure the cargo before continuing further travel. Police also reminded transport operators to ensure all goods are tightly fastened and fully covered before departure, warning that falling cargo can pose serious hazards to road users and may lead to severe accidents.
