PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police helped settle a dispute between a tourist and accommodation provider after receiving a request for assistance over a refund issue.
On July 15, the Tourist Police 1155 hotline received a call from a visitor seeking help regarding a request to recover accommodation fees. Patrol officers from Pattaya Tourist Police Station (Tourist Police Division 4, Subdivision 2, Tourist Police Bureau 1) quickly attended the matter.
Officers explained the procedures, possible solutions and relevant legal information to both parties, helping them better understand their rights and responsibilities. Following discussions, both sides were able to reach an agreement and resolve the matter peacefully. Pattaya Tourist Police reminded visitors that assistance is available 24 hours a day through the 1155 hotline or the Thailand Tourist Police application.
