Organizers launch LOMA RUN ON THE BEACH 2026, which returns to Pattaya for its 12th year and is expected to attract more than 3,000 runners and supporters to Dongtan and Jomtien beaches.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Registration has officially opened for Loma Run on the Beach 2026, with the popular charity running event set to return to Pattaya for its 12th consecutive year. Pirun Noi-imjai, known locally as “Teacher Noi” and project manager of the HHN Foundation for Thai Children, said the event is being organized in partnership with Pattaya City and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Pattaya Office).

Beyond promoting health and fitness, organizers say the annual beach run has become an important event for Pattaya’s tourism industry, attracting runners and visitors from across Thailand to the city’s scenic Dongtan and Jomtien Beach areas. The event is expected to draw more than 3,000 participants and supporters, generating an estimated 15 million baht in local economic activity. Hotels, restaurants, shops, and other local businesses are expected to benefit from increased visitor spending during the event period.

This year’s race will feature two categories:

  • 10-kilometer Mini Marathon (1,300 runners)
  • 5-kilometer Fun Run (700 participants)

Organizers said proceeds remaining after expenses will be used to provide educational scholarships for children and youth supported by the HHN Foundation for Thai Children.

The event aims to combine sports, tourism, and community support by using fitness activities to generate economic benefits while helping improve educational opportunities for disadvantaged young people. Registration is now open through the ThaiRun platform. (https://race.thai.run/lomarun2026)
