Chonburi is taking blood donations for a week to honor HM the King on his birthday.

Gov. Pakarathorn Thienchai and his wife, Supaporn, chairwoman of the Chonburi Red Cross, opened the “Bowing Heart” project at the provincial hall July 24.

Supaporn said that to celebrate His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s 65th birthday July 28, the Red Cross and National Blood Center 3 joined to collect blood donations from July 24-30 at the government building.

During the week, those wishing to register as organ donors also can submit applications, she said.

Pakarathorn said HM the King will always support Thailand and its people, giving support and making the country a better place. Therefore, all Thai people should come together and honor him on the occasion by doing good things.
