SRI RACHA, Thailand – Two people were injured and trapped inside a trailer truck after it lost control on a rain-slick road and crashed into the base of an overpass at Ao Udom intersection early on September 22. The trailer, registered 75-1852, was travelling through heavy rain when the driver reportedly lost control and slammed into the bridge structure at the Ao Udom intersection.
The impact left two people trapped inside the vehicle. Rescue workers from Sawang Prateep Sri Racha Foundation used hydraulic cutting and spreading equipment to free them. The rescue operation took more than an hour, with crews working in continuous rain before successfully removing both victims from the wreckage. The two injured people were then taken to hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash.
