Poramet returns to lead Pattaya with tourism sector support

PATTAYA, Thailand – The Chonburi Tourism Federation has congratulated Poramet Ngampichet on beginning his second term as Pattaya Mayor, pledging continued cooperation between the public and private sectors to strengthen tourism and economic development. On July 20, Poramet, also known as “Mayor Beer,” officially began his first day back in office following his re-election, with the federation’s executive committee extending its congratulations on his return as Pattaya Mayor for another term.


The federation said it is ready to support Pattaya City’s administration and promote closer cooperation between government agencies and private businesses to help drive tourism and strengthen the economy of Pattaya and Chonburi province. The organization emphasized that cooperation between the public and private sectors will be important in advancing tourism development, supporting local businesses, and creating sustainable growth opportunities for the region. The federation also wished Mayor Poramet success in carrying out his duties for the benefit of residents and the continued development of Pattaya.
