The boy, who lives with his grandmother in Nonthaburi but visits his mother in Laem Chabang on school holidays, was clueless how to get to his destination. He also had lost his phone in the van and had only 200 baht to his name.

A Sattahip volunteer took the boy to the police station, which seemed just as clueless on how to reunite the family until he asked the teen if he used Facebook. Learning he did, the officer turned over his computer to the boy.

Phasit contacted his sister in Nonthaburi through the social network. She called their mother who rushed to Sattahip to pick him up.
