PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya firefighters came to the rescue of a pigeon trapped beneath the roof of a home in the Country Club Villa housing estate in Jomtien on August 15. At around 4:10 p.m., Pattaya City Fire Station in Jomtien dispatched inspection vehicle 407 and a team of officers after residents reported a pigeon trapped beneath the house roof.
Firefighters carefully reached the bird through an opening around a ceiling light fixture in the bathroom and successfully freed it. The rescued pigeon was then reunited with its partner, which had remained nearby on the roof while firefighters carried out the rescue.
Authorities reminded residents not to attempt to catch snakes or other wild animals themselves. Frightened animals can behave unpredictably, and attempts to handle them can result in injury.
