PATTAYA, Thailand – Walking Street in Pattaya was transformed into a large-scale community kitchen as Amporn Kaewsang led a charity food distribution event to mark her birthday, attracting residents, workers, and tourists in large numbers, May 9.

The event was held in front of The Stones House on South Pattaya Walking Street, where organizers set up a “free food kitchen” offering a wide variety of meals and refreshments. Items distributed included fish curry noodles, green curry chicken, papaya salad, boxed meals, noodles, fruits, ice cream, snacks, and beverages—prepared in large quantities and served continuously throughout the event.

The initiative was supported by multiple local organizations, including the Pattaya Nightlife Business Association, Walking Street community leaders, local business owners, Pattaya police representatives, and staff from participating establishments. The atmosphere was described as warm and festive, with many attendees offering birthday wishes and bringing congratulatory gifts and flower arrangements.

Prominent attendees included Lisa Hamilton President of Pattaya Nightlife Business Association, Sukhraj Kalra President of Walking Street Community, Wanpen Topanich owner of Moom Aroi, and Amporn Saengkaew Chair of Pattaya Press, alongside business figures, guests, and members of the media.

Beyond the celebration, the event also had a charitable purpose, with donations collected from attendees and supporters. The funds will be contributed to the construction of Pattaya Bhatthamakun Hospital, aiming to support healthcare development and public welfare in the region.

Large crowds of residents and tourists queued steadily for free food and drinks throughout the day, creating a lively and heartfelt atmosphere that organizers said reflected both community unity and social support in Pattaya.
