Tourist Police in Pattaya assist a foreign visitor reporting lost property and provide guidance on legal procedures and case follow-up.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police provided assistance to foreign tourists in two separate incidents on June 18, offering guidance on legal procedures, communication support, and safety advice. In the first case, a foreign tourist sought help regarding a lost property complaint that had already been filed with investigating officers. Tourist police and trainee students coordinated with interpreters to explain legal procedures, clarify the progress of the case, and advise the complainant to follow up directly with the responsible investigating officer.

In a second case, another foreign visitor requested assistance after reporting harassment from a known individual, stating that the behavior caused fear and concern for personal safety, leading the tourist to avoid leaving their accommodation. Officers provided advice on legal rights and procedures and recommended that the victim record an official daily report and file a formal complaint at the local police station to ensure proper documentation and further legal action.

Tourist Police emphasized their continued role in supporting visitors in Pattaya, particularly in ensuring clear communication and access to justice through proper legal channels. For emergency assistance, tourists can contact the Tourist Police hotline at 1155, or use the Thailand Tourist Police Application (TPB App) and POLICE CARE App for immediate support.
