PATTAYA, Thailand – A stray dog suffering from an infected paw that made walking difficult has received treatment from a Pattaya team, which plans to return the animal to its community once the wound has healed. The team sedated the dog to treat the infected paw and make it easier for the animal to receive care safely.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai shared images of the rescue and treatment, explaining that the dog would be returned to its original location after recovering, allowing it to continue living as a community dog. Residents who spot stray dogs that are injured or need medical attention can report them to Pattaya Contact Center on 1337.
