The Pattaya Municipal Office, working together with police and related agencies, has launched inspections along the beachfront to ensure parking areas remain available for residents, visitors and tourists.
Officials reminded drivers that parking along red-and-white painted curbs is strictly prohibited, with violators facing penalties under traffic regulations. Authorities also warned against attempts to use public parking spaces for commercial purposes, including reserving spaces, placing objects to block parking areas, or using public land as private parking for rental businesses without permission. The enforcement campaign aims to restore fairness in the use of public areas, improve traffic flow and enhance safety around one of Pattaya’s busiest tourist zones.
City officials said beachfront areas belong to everyone and must remain accessible to the public, particularly in high-demand locations where parking shortages often create conflicts between residents, tourists and businesses. Motorists are encouraged to follow parking regulations and respect designated areas to help maintain order along Pattaya Beach. Authorities said continued inspections will be carried out to ensure that beach areas remain orderly, safe and accessible for all users.
