PATTAYA, Thailand – Deputy Mayor Kritsana Boonsawat chaired a planning meeting at Pattaya City Hall to prepare for the large-scale Songkran Wan Lai Pattaya 2026 celebrations, aiming to elevate the event into an international tourism festival while enforcing strict safety measures.
City officials, council members, police, tourism police, and representatives from several agencies attended the meeting to coordinate preparations for the festival, which is expected to draw large crowds to the city’s beachfront.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand Pattaya Office, in partnership with Mono Streaming Company Limited, will organize the three-day event from April 17–19 along Pattaya Beach.

Visitors can enjoy free concerts featuring popular Thai artists including Tattoo Colour, Jeff Satur, F.HERO, PROXIE, Joey Boy, Maiyarap, Indigo, and Joey Phuwasit. Activities will also include live football broadcasts and DJ performances near Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya.
Meanwhile, the Chonburi Cultural Office will host the cultural program “Sakasilp Rim Talay: Songkran Seaside Charm” opposite Central Pattaya. The program will showcase traditional Thai cultural performances, sand pagoda building, water-pouring rituals for Buddha images, traditional games, and stalls selling cultural products from across Thailand’s four regions.
Authorities also stressed strict safety and traffic management plans due to the expected influx of tourists. Police and city agencies have been tasked with integrating security measures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors throughout the celebrations.
