PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet chaired the executive policy meeting at City Hall, with deputy mayors, advisors, secretaries, and relevant departments in attendance.
The meeting focused on tracking key city policies and addressing operational challenges. Major topics included reclaiming public spaces for community use, progress on the Eastern Region Sports Stadium Phase 3 project by Green Thumb Co., Ltd. (currently 65.3% complete after 62 days of work, with remaining tasks on grandstand roofing, landscaping, and the football field), and the ongoing Pattaya Go Green initiative.
The Pattaya Go Green program includes the installation of solar-powered EV charging stations in public parks and markets in collaboration with PTT OR, alongside carbon footprint assessment efforts with the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization.
Mayor Poramet emphasized continuous monitoring and accelerated action to ensure that these projects and policies deliver tangible benefits to Pattaya residents.
