The freshly cleaned Pattaya mayor’s office, presented by a Pattaya City Hall officer, is ready for Mayor Poramase Ngampiches’ official return on Monday.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City Hall has completed final preparations for the official return of Mayor Poramase Ngampiches, with staff thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the mayor’s office ahead of his new term beginning on Monday, July 20. Housekeeping staff were seen carrying out a meticulous cleaning of the office on July 17, wiping down and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and work areas to ensure everything is in place before the mayor officially resumes his duties.

The formal handover ceremony will begin Monday morning, when Mayor Poramase, members of his executive team, and Pattaya City Council members will pay respects at the City Hall shrine before attending a welcome ceremony at the Thap Phraya Meeting Room. During the ceremony, the mayor will formally present his election certification to the Pattaya City Clerk and sign documents delegating administrative authority, officially marking the start of his new term. He will then sign appointments for the deputy mayors, secretary to the mayor, assistant secretaries, chief adviser, and advisers. In the afternoon, Mayor Poramase will introduce his executive team before outlining the administration’s agenda, including three strategic goals and 33 policy initiatives, followed by a policy briefing for department heads.
