PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya municipal officers, police and related agencies are continuing inspections along Pattaya Beach to keep public parking and pedestrian areas accessible to residents and tourists. Officials are checking for vehicles parked along red-and-white curbs, as well as cars and motorcycles parked or driven on sidewalks in ways that obstruct pedestrians. Authorities are also checking for the unauthorized use of public parking spaces, including attempts to rent out spaces, reserve them for customers or occupy them for private benefit.
The Pattaya municipal enforcement team is working with police and relevant agencies to monitor the beachfront and enforce regulations, with the aim of keeping public areas available for everyone while maintaining order and safety along the beach. Officials said motorists who park in prohibited areas or park or ride on sidewalks may face legal penalties.
They also reminded businesses and individuals that public spaces cannot be used for commercial purposes without permission. Those found occupying or using public areas for unauthorized business activities may face legal action.
