Pattaya delivers care packages to bedridden patients and seniors under proactive program

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya city officials recently visited Naklua community to deliver care packages to bedridden patients and elderly residents as part of the city’s proactive “Better Pattaya” health and quality-of-life program.

Deputy Mayor Thitiphun Petchtrakul, along with City Council Chairman Banlue Kullavanich, council members, and staff from Pattaya’s Social Welfare Office, personally distributed aid to three local residents.



The beneficiaries included Mrs. Jit Daengkaew, a bedridden patient who received a care package and an air mattress; Mr. Sawan Thawaisap, an elderly resident with financial hardship whose daughter is battling cancer, who received monthly living support funds; and Mrs. Saijai Laithongkam, a low-income senior who was given a care package and a commode chair to improve daily convenience.

The supplies were sourced from the Chonburi Red Cross and supplemented by city officials. The initiative received positive feedback from the community and exemplifies Pattaya’s commitment to proactive, in-home support, reflecting genuine concern for residents’ health and well-being.
