PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet welcomed representatives from MRS. Elegant (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to discuss the “Queens of Every Province” campaign under the Mrs. Thailand World Chonburi pageant. The meeting aimed to explore collaboration on local events that boost tourism and promote regional identity.
The Mrs. Thailand World pageant is dedicated to supporting married women, giving them a platform to showcase their potential and serve as role models in society. Positive responses from last year’s event highlighted the strength, capability, and inspiring roles of married women in areas such as family, community, and the economy.
In 2025, the campaign expands nationwide under the theme, “Mrs. Thailand World 2025: Queens of Every Province”, aiming to spotlight married women from every province. Each representative will reflect the unique cultural identity of their region while promoting female empowerment and soft power on a global stage.
The Chonburi organizing committee views Pattaya City as a prime location due to its rich tourism assets and vibrant local culture. As such, Pattaya has been chosen to host various activities and the national grand final of the competition.
During the meeting, Mayor Poramet expressed his full support and encouraged the organizers to coordinate with the Pattaya Cultural Council to ensure all activities align with local cultural values. He also instructed relevant city departments to collaborate with the organizers during upcoming local events, including Wan Lai Pattaya (Pattaya Water Festival) and other tourism-related festivals.
This partnership marks a meaningful step in empowering Thai women, especially single mothers, while simultaneously using soft power to present Thailand’s rich culture to the world.
