PATTAYA, Thailand – The Pattaya Rescue Center was alerted to a multi-motorcycle collision with several people injured, some severely, near the underpass tunnel in Central Pattaya on the Sattahip-bound side at 12:30 AM on April 19.
Rescue teams and medical staff were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they found an unconscious male, approximately 18-20 years old, lying on the road and unresponsive. Emergency first aid was administered, and he was rushed to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. Nearby, a yellow Honda Giorno motorcycle, belonging to the injured individual, was found abandoned on the road.
Further investigation revealed a red-black Honda Wave 110 motorcycle owned by 17-year-old Anuchit Phusathong, damaged from the collision. Approximately 10 meters away, a white Toyota Vios with rear-right side damage was found, driven by 40-year-old Polwat Sriwarom.
Anuchit explained that the injured person had been speeding while racing with a friend when he lost control and collided with his motorcycle, causing the crash. Polwat, the car owner, stated that he had stopped due to running out of fuel when the motorcycle, traveling at high speed, struck the rear of his car and then collided with another motorcycle, causing injuries to both riders.
Police have documented the scene and seized all vehicles for further investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
