A man sleeping on a traffic island in the middle of a busy intersection created havoc for drivers crossing between Sattahip and Rayong.
The shoeless, unidentified man, believed to be homeless, was sawing logs in the middle the Nuadplamuk intersection connecting the two communities.
Sawang Rojthummasathan officers rousted the sleeper from his dangerous bed, but before they could contain him, he stumbled out onto a connecting road, causing traffic to veer wildly to avoid striking him. He then wandered off to parts unknown.
Police were able to wake up and chase off this homeless man before he rolled out into traffic in his sleep.
