PATTAYA, Thailand – The sports facility beneath the Laem Bali Hai underpass sports area has been temporarily closed as repair and maintenance works are carried out to ensure public safety.
Officials from Pattaya confirmed that the area has been marked as “temporarily out of service” while teams work on addressing surface and structural issues at the site, which is commonly used by residents for recreational sports activities.
The closure follows routine inspections that identified areas requiring urgent repair. Authorities said the maintenance is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade public sports infrastructure and maintain safety standards across community facilities in Pattaya.
No reopening date has been announced yet, with the site expected to remain closed until all repairs are completed and safety assessments are finalized. Residents are advised to use alternative sports venues in the meantime.
