PATTAYA, Thailand – A normal workday at a Jomtien office turned into an unexpected wildlife encounter when employees discovered a long green snake slithering through their workplace on July 25. At around 4:33 p.m., Pattaya City Fire Station (Jomtien Zone) received a call for help from an office on Chaiyaphruek 1 Road after staff spotted the unexpected visitor while they were working.
The snake, estimated to be about one meter long, caused alarm among employees who quickly contacted authorities for assistance rather than attempting to catch it themselves.
Firefighters from the Jomtien station arrived with inspection vehicle 407 and safely captured the reptile before removing it from the office area. Officials reminded residents that wild animals, including snakes and other creatures that enter homes or workplaces, should be handled by trained personnel to avoid injuries or unnecessary risks.
