The Jomtien Night Market will reopen July 19 after a deep cleaning to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The popular market closed July 12 after Chonburi announced the closure of all non-essential businesses and a voluntary 9 p.m.-4 a.m. curfew. The market is exempt from the business closure but took the opportunity to spray disinfectant around.

The hours of the market will be limited to allow people to comply with the 9 p.m. curfew. Strict disease-control measures will remain in place as well.
