Police are looking for the parents of a newborn baby abandoned outside a Pattaya housing project.
The baby boy was wrapped in a Johnny Walker whiskey shirt and still had its umbilical cord attached. The child had been placed in a black garbage bag and left near a tree at the Wonderland 2 apartment complex on Soi Thai-Udom in North Pattaya.
Security guard Saowton Chansen said some foreign residents contacted her after hearing the child crying.
The infant was taken to Banglamung Hospital and police are looking for the mother or father that disposed of the child.
Rescue workers took the newborn to Banglamung Hospital for treatment.
