HRH Princess Sirindhorn honors Red Cross blood donors

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the Executive Vice-President of the Thai Red Cross Society, presented commemorative pins to blood donors who’d reached specific milestones in their contributions to the Thai Red Cross Society.  Donors receive a badge of recognition when they reach a certain number of donations, and in this case, those who reached 36 and 108 donations were awarded.

The presentation ceremony was held Nov. 30 at Ambassador City Hotel in Jomtien.

In all, 592 donors received pins at the ceremony. They included 17 monks and 9 others who received the Red Cross Awards Medal First Class for their generosity and for supporting the work of the Thai Red Cross Society. 566 certificates of appreciation were also presented to institutions for their support.

The Eastern Seaboard’s Red Cross Region 3 includes Chonburi, Chantaburi, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Rayong, Sa Kaew and Trat.
