Dutch tourist seriously injured in Pattaya road crash on Pratumnak Hill descent

Pattaya Tourist Police and rescue workers assist a seriously injured Dutch tourist following a collision on the downhill section of Pratumnak Hill.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya Tourist Police rushed to assist at the scene of a road accident on April 15 after receiving reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the downhill section of Pratumnak Hill.

The injured motorcyclist, a Dutch tourist, suffered serious wounds, heavy bleeding, and a broken bone but remained conscious and able to communicate with rescuers.

The other vehicle involved was an MG sedan driven by a Chinese national.


Tourist Police officers, together with TAC personnel, coordinated with Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation to provide initial assistance before the injured tourist was rushed to Pattaya Memorial Hospital for urgent treatment.

Police are expected to question the driver and review nearby CCTV footage as part of the investigation into the cause of the crash.

The MG sedan sustained heavy damage to its side following the collision with the motorcycle on Pratumnak Hill.

Rescue workers rushed the injured Dutch tourist to Pattaya Memorial Hospital for urgent treatment after the crash.
