PATTAYA, Thailand – Residents and visitors in Pattaya can expect cooler mornings with lingering fog in the early hours, as temperatures in upper Thailand rise slightly but remain cool to cold. The Meteorological Department advises caution for commuters navigating foggy areas and urges people to take care of their health due to the chilly conditions. Dry weather also increases the risk of fires, so vigilance is recommended.

Meanwhile, the southern region will experience heavy rain and thunderstorms from 11–13 December, caused by a low-pressure system moving from the South China Sea across the Gulf of Thailand. Mariners are warned to exercise caution, as waves in the Gulf of Thailand may reach 1–2 meters, and over 2 meters in areas with thunderstorms. Travelers are advised to monitor local weather updates and avoid maritime activities in storm-affected zones.

Air quality in upper Thailand, including Pattaya, is currently rated from low to moderate for dust and haze, thanks to prevailing winds dispersing pollutants.
