PATTAYA, Thailand – The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has reported that the upper regions of Thailand, including the northeast, north, central, and eastern areas, are experiencing cool weather in the mornings. This is due to a moderate high-pressure system bringing cooler air from China over the northern part of the country. Residents are advised to take care of their health as temperatures fluctuate.

In Pattaya and the eastern region, the morning chill is noticeable, offering a brief respite from the recent heat. Locals and tourists are advised to dress appropriately during early hours, especially if venturing outdoors.

Meanwhile, southern Thailand is seeing scattered thunderstorms in some areas. The northeast monsoon is affecting the Gulf of Thailand, southern coasts, and the Andaman Sea. Moderate waves of 1–2 meters are expected, with higher waves over 2 meters in areas with thunderstorms. Boaters and fishermen are advised to exercise caution and avoid sailing in stormy conditions.

The TMD reminds everyone that sudden weather changes are possible and encourages residents, tourists, and maritime operators to monitor local weather updates.
