Chinese family narrowly escapes fire in Pattaya townhouse

Pattaya firefighters didn’t take long to bring the fire under control and extinguished it.

Damage was estimated at a half-million baht in a townhouse fire in Nongprue.

Subdistrict firefighters responded to the blaze at Tanyawan Village in Moo 5 village Nov. 17.

The fire started in a storage room in which all the contents were damaged or destroyed.

The Chinese tenant and his family escaped unscathed and is working with police to determine the cause of the blaze.

The Chinese family escaped to a neighbour’s house and watched as their rented house went up in flames.
