Banglamung officials arrested a Pattaya speedboat driver for allegedly using methamphetamines regularly with his secret lover.
Yongyuth Sabsin, 29, was taken into custody outside a rented room in the Rong Po Community June 18. Officers seized 1.75 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
The arrest came following complaints from residents of the Takientia Community about drug users congregating. Police arrested three people, one of whom confessed she regularly got and used drugs with her lover Yongyuth.
Police persuaded the woman to set up a drug sting on Yongyuth, during which he was arrested.
Police then took him to his apartment on Sukhumvit Soi 18, where his day got worse. His girlfriend was packing her belongings to leave him, as she now knew he was cheating on her.
He was charged with possession of a Class 1 narcotic.
