Police estimated about 30 shots were fired outside the Old East Theater after nearby bars closed Oct. 12. Officers recovered ten 9-millimeter casings. The four people with gunshot wounds were taken to a local hospital.

Police accused the Bang Sai and Lung Petch Siam gangs for the shooting and have hauled in members of both for questioning.

Witnesses said both gangs have a long history of bad blood and fought ten years ago outside the same pub before it closed. It reopened a decade later under a different name, but the violence continues.
