Typhoon Bavi disrupts regional air travel as Thai Airways cancels Bangkok–Taipei flights on July 10–11 due to safety concerns.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Thai Airways has announced the cancellation of several flights between Bangkok and Taipei due to the impact of Typhoon Bavi, which is moving toward Taiwan. The airline said the cancellations are being made for passenger safety as the storm affects weather conditions in the region.

The affected flights include:

July 10, 2026

  • TG636 Bangkok – Taipei, departing 5:15 p.m. and arriving 10:10 p.m.

July 11, 2026

  • TG637 Taipei – Bangkok, departing 7:55 a.m. and arriving 10:40 a.m.
  • TG632 Bangkok – Taipei, departing 8:25 a.m. and arriving 1:05 p.m.
  • TG633 Taipei – Bangkok, departing 2:05 p.m. and arriving 4:50 p.m.
  • TG634 Bangkok – Taipei, departing 12:40 p.m. and arriving 5:20 p.m.
  • TG635 Taipei – Bangkok, departing 6:50 p.m. and arriving 9:35 p.m.
