PATTAYA, Thailand – The Riviera Malibu Residences has been named Best Luxury Condo Development (Eastern Seaboard) at the 21st PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards, giving The Riviera Group another national honour for its work in Pattaya.
The award was announced at a black-tie gala at Dusit Thani Bangkok on September 18. The ceremony recognised achievements across approximately 60 property categories, with the selection process independently supervised by HLB Thailand.
For the company, the award belongs to everyone who helped bring Malibu to this stage. “An award for all of us to be proud of. This success is due to the will, dedication, and the power of a team that always works together to create the best work,” Winston Gale founder and CEO of The Riviera Group said in his message celebrating the win.
The 30-storey development on Pratumnak Soi 5 comprises 275 residences and is scheduled for completion in December 2026. Its design draws on Hollywood glamour and resort-style living, with facilities including a rooftop infinity pool, an onsen, saunas, entertainment spaces and a residents’ lounge on the 29th floor. The location places residents close to Pattaya and Jomtien while offering the quieter setting of Pratumnak Hill.
For co-owner Sukanya Gale, Malibu’s journey has been especially memorable. In an interview with REm Magazine earlier this year, she recalled how the project’s original condominium-and-hotel concept was reconsidered after its launch during the COVID-19 period and difficulties with approvals. The team adapted its plans, and she described the subsequent response as a source of pride. “When you believe in your vision and are willing to do something different, the market can respond very positively,” she said.
The Malibu award follows a series of honours for the group founded by Winston and Sukanya Gale. The Riviera Wongamat Beach won an Eastern Seaboard luxury condominium award in 2016. The group went on to win PropertyGuru’s Best Developer (Eastern Seaboard) title in 2022 and 2025, and Best Condo Developer (Eastern Seaboard) in 2023.
After the group’s 2025 award, CEO Winston Gale credited the people behind its projects. “Receiving this award for the 14th time is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” he said at the time. Sukanya expressed a similar belief in her REm Magazine interview: “People are the heart of the company.”
With Malibu now recognised as the Eastern Seaboard’s best luxury condominium development of 2026, the latest trophy marks both a milestone for the Pratumnak project and another shared achievement for the Riviera team.
