Thailand on track for 10 million tourists in 2022

Government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri said Thailand so far has welcomed 6 million tourists and is on track to hit the government’s 10 million goal.

Thailand remains on track to see 10 million tourists this year.

Government spokesman Anucha Burapachaisri said Oct. 26 that airline ticket bookings have reached 50% of pre-pandemic levels with 573,538 seats booked in the third quarter.

The country so far has welcomed 6 million tourists and is on track to hit the government’s 10 million goal, Anucha said.



“The prime minister is confident that all relevant public and private organizations will work together to hold activities, campaigns and projects in accordance with the demands of tourists to continuously promote Thailand’s tourism in all forms,” the spokesman said.
