BKS Managing Director Atthawit Rakjamroon says joint-service passenger vans and minibuses have resumed normal operations on all routes after floodwaters receded.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Transport Company Limited (BKS) said joint-service operators providing passenger vans and minibuses have resumed normal services on all routes after flooding in several areas began to subside. BKS Managing Director Atthawit Rakjamroon said some routes had previously been temporarily suspended because flooding made roads impassable. With water levels falling and conditions improving, joint-service operators are now able to resume services on all routes.

Passenger demand for bus services has remained steady. On October 1, BKS and joint-service buses carried 75,532 passengers on 4,897 trips. The company expects approximately 79,309 passengers on 5,142 trips on October 2. BKS will continue to closely monitor flood conditions, particularly in areas where rain and flooding remain. The company will assess road conditions and adjust bus operations when necessary to ensure convenient and safe public transport for passengers.

Travel information and ticket bookings are available through the BKS website, the BKS E-Ticket application, the BKS Facebook page, LINE BKS (@BKS99), and BKS ticket counters nationwide. Passengers can also call 02-936-2841 to 48 for information. BKS said it would continue monitoring weather and flood conditions and adjust services according to developments on the ground. (TNA)
