BANGKOK, Thailand – Gulf Development chief executive and ADVANC director and vice chairman Sarath Ratanavadi has purchased 1 million shares of Advanced Info Service (ADVANC) worth 372 million baht, just one day before the stock went ex-dividend. According to a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Form 59 filing dated August 20, Sarath bought the shares on August 18 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand’s Auto Matching system at an average price of 372 baht per share.

The transaction was executed through Bualuang Securities Public Company Limited, bringing the total value of the purchase to 372 million baht. The timing of the purchase came one day before ADVANC’s XD date on August 19, meaning Sarath remained eligible to receive the company’s interim dividend on the newly acquired shares. ADVANC has declared an interim dividend of 8.69 baht per share for its January 1–June 30, 2026 operating period, with payment scheduled for September 3.

Based on the 1 million shares purchased, Sarath would be entitled to approximately 8.69 million baht in gross dividend income, before withholding tax. The dividend represents an estimated yield of about 2.34% based on his average purchase price of 372 baht per share. The filing provides details of the share purchase but does not indicate Sarath’s reasons for making the investment.
