PATTAYA, Thailand – After days of unsettled weather and heavy rain warnings across the country, Pattaya has enjoyed several days of sunshine, bringing welcome relief to residents and visitors. Blue skies have returned, brightening the beach and giving the city a more inviting feel. October marks a seasonal transition in Thailand, as the rainy season gradually gives way to the cooler months. However, winter has yet to make a strong impression in Pattaya, where temperatures remain warm during the day, reaching around 31°C before dropping to approximately 25°C in the evening.

The cooler evening breezes felt across Pattaya in recent days have been particularly welcome, making walks along Beach Road more comfortable. Stronger spells of cool weather arrive when cold air masses from China move south over Thailand, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures. However, these cooler conditions often last only a few days or around a week before warmer weather returns, with such spells possible intermittently through January.

Along the beachfront, people have been making the most of the sunny weather, whether walking along the sand, relaxing by the sea or enjoying the coastal views. As evening arrives, families and visitors continue to stroll past the beachfront dining spots, taking advantage of the comfortable conditions. With the weather still capable of changing during this seasonal transition, Pattaya’s recent sunshine and cool evening breezes provide a welcome reminder of the pleasures of seaside life as the city moves towards the cooler months.
