Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet leads a key executive meeting to advance city projects and ensure transparency.

PATTAYA, Thailand — Mayor Poramet Ngampichet presided over the sixth 2025 session of Pattaya City executive policy meeting. Also present were Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai, the Mayor’s secretariat team, advisors, and relevant department heads in Meeting Room 131 at Pattaya City Hall on August 26.

The meeting reviewed progress, challenges, and obstacles related to key initiatives assigned in the previous session on June 24, aiming to ensure Pattaya’s projects move forward effectively.



Key updates included:

Reclaiming public spaces: The City Engineering Department has successfully cleared areas such as the road connecting Soi Pothisarn 6, with only one remaining property pending legal action for public encroachment. Roads connecting Soi Thappraya 9, 11, and 13 (Soi Bon Kai) and a public access path to the beach at the end of Soi Naklua 16 have also been addressed, with property owners cooperating with the city’s requests.

Community and infrastructure development: Updates were provided on the redesign of Wat Thammachamakki community facilities and fire station, the establishment of a city pawnshop, and land boundary inspections.

City officials review progress on public space reclamation, community projects, and the ‘Pattaya Go Green’ initiative.

Environmental and financial initiatives: Progress on the “Pattaya Go Green” program and the procurement of budgeted resources for fiscal year 2026 were presented, showing compliance with standard regulations.

Governance and anti-corruption efforts: Overall performance under the city’s 2025 risk and anti-corruption management plan was highly successful. Pattaya earned top recognition in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) for the fiscal year 2025, scoring an average of 99.41 points and maintaining the “Excellent Pass” level for three consecutive years.


Mayor Poramet and Deputy Mayor Manot emphasized that all departments must report progress at each meeting, publicly communicate achievements to citizens, and operate with transparency and accountability to foster trust and maintain Pattaya’s positive image.

Pattaya continues to excel in governance, earning top marks in the Integrity and Transparency Assessment for the third consecutive year.
