PATTAYA, Thailand – Mayor Poramet Ngampichet led a team to inspect the readiness of the lighting system for the roof covering the Bali Hai Pier bridge, aiming to transform the area into a new city landmark and tourist attraction.
Officials reviewed the lighting system alongside heads of relevant departments, staff, and contractors, ensuring the installation is fully functional and visually appealing for public and tourist use. The pier is expected to draw 10,000 to 20,000 visitors a day during peak seasons and long holidays, particularly those who enjoy island visits, water sports, and fishing activities.
As high season approaches, Koh Larn’s accommodations are tidying up their rooms and dining areas to cater to the growing crowds, taking advantage of decreasing rainfall and improved weather conditions.
The inspection is part of Pattaya City’s ongoing efforts to enhance public infrastructure and promote tourism by creating safe, attractive, and iconic locations throughout the city. Bali Hai Pier’s improved facilities aim to make it a focal point for both residents and tourists seeking recreational and maritime experiences.
