MotoGP superstars including Marc Márquez and Francesco Bagnaia arrive at Buriram Airport as Thailand officially enters MotoGP Week ahead of the PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2026.

PATTAYA, Thailand – The world’s top MotoGP riders have begun arriving in Thailand, officially kicking off “MotoGP Week” ahead of the PT Grand Prix of Thailand 2026, scheduled for February 21–22 at Chang International Circuit, Buriram Province.

The elite rider lineup is led by fan-favorite brothers Marc Márquez of Ducati Lenovo Team and Álex Márquez of BK8 Gresini Racing — the Spanish duo who famously made history by finishing world champion and runner-up in the same MotoGP season.

They are joined by a star-studded field including Jorge Martín (Aprilia Racing), Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo Team, Maverick Viñales (Red Bull KTM Tech3), Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team), Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), and Ai Ogura of Trackhouse MotoGP Team, among many others.

All riders arrived on a charter flight to Buriram, where they received a warm welcome featuring traditional Thai cultural performances and a local youth procession dressed in the viral “Sabai and Jeans” theme. Fans also gathered at the airport to greet their favorite superstars, with riders appearing relaxed and upbeat ahead of the upcoming Pre-Season Test.

Thailand will officially host the MotoGP Pre-Season Test before the opening round of the 2026 season, running from February 27 to March 1. Ticket holders for the Main Race will be allowed to attend the Pre-Season Test free of charge, with access to the grandstands to closely observe the latest MotoGP machinery and team operations — a rare opportunity before the season begins.
