
BANGKOK, Thailand – Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) is advancing its strategy to develop a new generation of aviation personnel as part of efforts to strengthen Thailand’s position as a regional aviation hub. The initiative was highlighted during the ACI Asia-Pacific and Middle East Regional Human Resources Committee 1st Meeting 2026, held under the theme “Building the Engine: People-Centric Organizational Transformation” at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park. The meeting was presided over by Senior Executive Vice President Chadanisa Chumnanvej, who opened the session and emphasized the importance of human capital development in supporting the rapidly changing global aviation industry.
Also participating was Ratchanont Kittiphat in his capacity as a committee member of the ACI Asia-Pacific and Middle East Regional HR Committee. The meeting served as an international platform for exchanging perspectives on human resource management within the aviation sector, particularly in response to global industry transformation, technological advancement, and evolving workforce demands. AOT also highlighted internal efforts to strengthen organizational culture and leadership capabilities, focusing on adapting to long-term sustainability goals and operational efficiency in the aviation sector.
During the event, Air Vice Marshal Somchoke Thiamthiprat joined a panel discussion on organizational transformation. He discussed leadership mindset changes and the importance of reshaping core values to build a high-performance work culture aligned with future aviation challenges. The discussion emphasized that aviation organizations must evolve beyond traditional management structures, prioritizing people-centric approaches to remain competitive in a rapidly changing global environment. AOT stated that strengthening workforce capabilities is a key pillar of its long-term strategy to support Thailand’s ambition to become a regional aviation hub, ensuring that airports can meet future demands in safety, service quality, and operational excellence.
