Phinyo Thanbunphairach has been appointed as director of food and beverage at Sheraton Pattaya Resort, effective from 1st January 2015.
With 14 years of experience in the hospitality business, Phinyo has gained extensive experience in food and beverage services along with good understanding of marketing strategies from his time spent in sales and marketing. Prior to his appointment, he was the food and beverage manager at Sheraton Pattaya Resort. After three successful years at the resort, he is now in charge of all aspects of food and beverage operations as well as the kitchen.
Phinyo believes that teamwork is the key to success in the hospitality sector. His management style focusing on collaboration is reflection of his past success.
“It’s my goal to engage the team with the company’s vision, aligning them towards same goal, and to deliver a memorable experience to the guests,” he says. “Hospitality is a people business. It’s people taking care of people.”
Phinyo has spent his past seven years with Starwood, having started his journey with Starwood at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa as restaurant manager in 2008. Prior experience includes Marriott International.
