Rayong extends trade relations with Dongguan, China


Rayong recently welcomed delegates from Dongguan, China, during talk about trade and investment between the two cities.

Rayong provincial governor Surasak Charoensirichote welcomed the Chinese delegates from the city of Dongguan in Guangdong province, led by Dongguan Foreign Affairs Office’s Secretary and Chief of Dongguan Foreign Affairs Office.

Dongguan Foreign Affairs Office’s Secretary said the visit underscored the importance of Thailand as the third biggest trade partner of China which is the second biggest trade partner of Thailand and both sides have continued to improve the relations in positive ways.

In the past year, Dongguan had extended its relations with key cities for mutual development interests. The Chinese city sees Rayong as Thailand’s key location for manufacturing industries, a deep-sea port and tourist attractions. (NNT)
