More than 10,000 people are expected to see how the Eastern Seaboard is powering Thailand’s space race at the second Eastern Economic Corridor fair Jan. 10-14 at Sriracha’s Space Innovation Creation Park.

Chonburi Deputy Gov. Phawat Lertmukhda chaired a Nov. 27 planning meeting for the EEC1 Fair sponsored by the province, Rayong and Chachoengsao. The January expo follows a similar event held in September.

Anon Sanitwong, director of the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency, told the meeting that the fair is part of the EEC development project and is expected to drive innovation under the concept of the “New Engine of Growth”, introducing new technology and offering a great opportunity for participants to exchange experiences.

The event will take visitors on a tour to experience new technology at the Calxai Lab, the Space Inspirium and other exhibits. Furthermore, the event is also based on attracting investors.
