4 development projects to be proposed to mobile cabinet meeting

Lopburi, 31 Oct 2013, The Lopburi Provincial Irrigation Office will seek approval on 4 development projects from the mobile cabinet meeting, which will be held on November 1st in the province. 

The Lopburi Provincial Irrigation Office is set to ask the mobile cabinet meeting for a budget of 62 million baht in order to push forward 4 development projects, mainly focused on sustainable water management and agriculture. These projects, according to the Irrigation Office, will help Lopburi farmers cope with both drought and flood seasons.

The Lopburi Provincial Irrigation Office has set up a high speed electric water pumping station with a capability to drain off water during floods and drain it back in for agricultural use during the drought.

The office also expressed on behalf of the province that Lopburi and its people are proud to host this upcoming cabinet meeting and looking forward to welcoming Prime Minister and Defense Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
