Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaised launches a new platform featuring virtual tours, traditional festivals and local experiences to connect visitors with communities across Thailand.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Ministry of Culture has launched ThaiVerse, a nationwide digital platform that provides access to the country’s cultural heritage and tourism experiences. The platform features information on traditional festivals, local products, folk performances, community-based tourism, virtual tours, and online activities, making it easier for residents and international visitors to discover Thai culture.

Culture Minister Sabeeda Thaised presided over the official launch at SCBX NEXT TECH in Bangkok’s Siam Paragon shopping center on November 5. Using digital technology and virtual reality, ThaiVerse lets users explore cultural attractions online while encouraging them to visit local communities and experience traditions firsthand.

Developed under the concepts ROOT to RICH and Cultural Nexus—Culture Connects the Future, the platform connects Thailand’s cultural heritage with tourism and economic development. The ministry hopes to attract more visitors to regional destinations, create opportunities for local entrepreneurs, and generate income for communities nationwide. ThaiVerse is now available to the public at www.thaiverse.net. (NNT)
