More than 170 tourism operators will offer discounts and 100-baht travel vouchers from December 15 to February 9, targeting Thai travellers and foreign residents.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is partnering with more than 170 tourism operators nationwide to launch the 100 Baht Travel Across Thailand campaign, offering special discounts and travel vouchers to encourage weekday tourism. Running from December 15, 2026, to February 9, 2027, the campaign seeks to boost domestic travel, support local businesses, and distribute tourism revenue to lesser-visited destinations and communities.

TAT Governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool chaired a meeting with participating operators on October 29 to coordinate preparations. Targeting Thai travelers and foreign nationals residing in Thailand, the campaign offers promotions across five categories: accommodations, restaurants, tourist attractions and activities, health and beauty services, and other travel-related businesses.

The campaign features two promotional activities. Participating businesses will offer exclusive discounts and privileges, while the online SHOCK DEALS promotion will provide tourism vouchers priced at 100 baht. Eight promotional rounds will take place on Tuesdays, with vouchers valid for travel from Monday through Thursday, subject to applicable conditions.

TAT expects the promotions to encourage travel outside weekends and public holidays, generating additional income for tourism businesses during quieter periods. Operators interested in participating can obtain further information through the official LINE account @weekday100. (NNT)
