PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya municipal officers intervened after finding a tourist had tied a hammock with a mosquito net between two coconut trees on Pattaya Beach. Officers from Pattaya’s municipal enforcement team explained the rules on public space use and asked the visitor to remove the equipment.
The operation aimed to keep the beachfront orderly and ensure public spaces remain accessible for everyone. Pattaya authorities remind residents and visitors to use shared public areas considerately. Anyone wishing to report an issue can contact the Pattaya Contact Center at 1337.
